Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Volunteering at Reborn Ranch

Volunteering at Reborn Ranch is a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of the next generation while serving in a Christ-centered environment. We offer opportunities both during camp season and throughout the off-season to fit a variety of schedules and skills.

Life Skills Volunteers

Life Skills Volunteers play a vital role in shaping the future of our campers. These volunteers work closely with the Camp Director to lead a three-hour class during camp that equips youth with practical skills they can carry into their daily lives. Topics can include carpentry, lawn care, wood splitting, building birdhouses, and other hands-on projects. Professionals such as police officers or tradespeople are encouraged to share their expertise, but volunteers do not need to be experts—just willing to teach and share their knowledge. You won’t be doing it alone! Reborn Ranch staff will be available to assist and help ensure your class runs smoothly.

Off-Season Volunteers

Help us prepare for the upcoming camp season with flexible, hands-on projects. Off-season tasks include carpentry, painting, lawn care, horse care, cleaning, and other camp readiness activities. Whether you have an hour or a full day to give, we welcome your time and skills!

Camp Season Volunteers

During camp, we focus on creating a stable, supportive environment for youth. Consistency is key, and to ensure this, we rely on full-time volunteers who commit to serving for a minimum of two weeks and up to the full eight-week camp session. During camp all volunteer staff either stay onsite in provided accommodations or are local community members living nearby. When people are coming and going, it creates an unstable environment that can hinder the growth of relationships and spiritual development, which is why we prioritize full-time volunteers who provide the stability campers need. Additionally to prioritize the safety of our youth, all camp season volunteers are required to pass a thorough background check and provide references.

Reborn Ranch reserves the right to identify volunteers that best fit the needs of the campers and align with our mission of bringing life, hope, and a future through Jesus Christ. This ensures that every individual serving in a role shares our vision and is equipped to make a positive impact. Additionally, we prioritize volunteers who can commit to the full eight-week camp session, as this consistency fosters deeper connections with campers and helps create a stronger camp community. This is why we do not allow all volunteers to work during camp, but we are incredibly thankful for the contributions of our off-season volunteers who help us prepare for a successful camp experience.

Volunteer Financial Support Program:

Reborn Ranch offers a unique opportunity for college students and others to serve as camp volunteers while also raising financial support. We understand that every situation is different, and while summer is a great time for ministry, it’s also when many need to earn money. That’s why we provide resources to help volunteers raise support through friends, family, and churches, making it possible to serve while still meeting their financial needs.

Through this program, students can share their mission, invite others to partner with them, and secure the backing they need for their time at camp. Whether through personal fundraising, church support, or connections we help facilitate, we want to make it possible for every willing heart to serve.

If you're a college student passionate about faith, mentorship, and making a difference in the lives of young people, we’d love to help you be part of Reborn Ranch this summer!
